[Dispatch=Lee Myeong-ju] SEVENTEEN has demonstrated its strong influence in the Asian touring market.
American 'Pollstar' recently released 'ASIA FOCUS CHARTS: TOP TOURING ARTISTS'.
The chart ranks artists based on tour revenue in the Asian region. The aggregation period spans from August 1 of last year to July 31 of this year.
SEVENTEEN topped the 'ASIA FOCUS CHARTS: TOP TOURING ARTISTS'. The group generated tour revenue of $97,394,004 (approximately 130 billion won).
Their world tour 'NEW_' kicked off in Incheon last September. They subsequently visited Hong Kong, Singapore, Bangkok, and large stadiums in Bulacan.
In particular, they performed again at Kai Tak Stadium, Hong Kong's largest stadium. As the first K-pop artist, they sold out the fourth concert there completely.
SEVENTEEN went to Vantelin Dome Nagoya, Kyocera Dome Osaka, Tokyo Dome, and Mizuho Fukuoka PayPay Dome. They held 22 large-scale concerts.
The scale of fan meetings also stands out. From May to June, they held fan meetings at two Japanese dome venues and domestic venues, drawing approximately 230,000 attendees.
SEVENTEEN's activities are expanding through unit and solo activities. Jeonghan X Joshua will hold tour 'DREAMING' across six domestic cities.
Hoshi, Woozi, Vernon, Mingyu, and Doyoum, currently serving in the military, have showcased diverse unit activities. Dino, scheduled to enlist this month, has been active as a solo artist.
Meanwhile, besides SEVENTEEN, TWICE (2nd), TXT (3rd), and BTS (4th) have also been named on this chart.
