[Dispatch=Reporter Lee Ajin] Actor Lee Jinwook is transforming into a veteran forensic examiner.

The tvN new drama 'Unnatural' (working title, screenplay by Min Jieun, directed by Park Yuyoung) announced on the 22nd that "Lee Jinwook has joined as forensic examiner Gu Seunghyuk."

'Unnatural' is a mystery medical drama. It is set against U.D.I, a virtual organization affiliated with the National Forensic Service. The story follows forensic pathologists uncovering hidden truths behind unnatural deaths.

Gu Seunghyuk is someone with a cold-hearted personality. He takes more interest in the dead than the living, earning him the nickname 'Afterlife Hyuk.' His skills are unrivaled.

The production team said, "Lee Jinwook's cool atmosphere and restrained emotional expression will create synergy with the character" and "subtle emotions will be expressed behind the expressionless face."

Previously, Lim Yoona and Cha Kangyoon confirmed their appearances. Lim Yoona took on the role of Song Doeun, a forensic examiner at the U.D.I Center. Cha Kangyoon plays Kang Jisung, a medical student assigned to serve as a public service worker.

Meanwhile, 'Unnatural' will air for the first time in 2027.
