[Dispatch=Reporter Lee Myeong-ju] ALPHA DRIVE ONE's Kim Gun-woo has filed a lawsuit demanding the court's judgment on his activity suspension, and his agency has issued a statement.
Wake One posted a notice titled "ALPHA DRIVE ONE Activity-Related Notice" on its website on the 25th. The agency made mention of the lawsuit involving Kim Gun-woo.
The agency stated, "We have prepared various measures including specific schedules regarding Kim Gun-woo's future activity direction and have continued discussions."
However, the discussions failed to reach a conclusion. Wake One explained, "There are differences in position in the process of coordinating activity direction, and legal procedures are currently underway."
The agency added, "We apologize for the worry and fatigue caused to fans during this process. We will respond faithfully to the related matter according to the established procedures."
ALPHA DRIVE ONE is a boy group formed through Mnet's 'Boys Planet' last year. The group debuted in the music industry in January with its first mini album 'Euphoria'.
Subsequently, allegations emerged that Kim Gun-woo made inappropriate remarks during pre-debut content filming. As the controversy spread, Kim Gun-woo suspended activities in April.
Meanwhile, ALPHA DRIVE ONE is currently active as a seven-member group excluding Kim Gun-woo.
