[Dispatch=Lee Myeong-ju Reporter] Jeonghan X Joshua of SEVENTEEN have captivated Japan.
According to the latest Japan Oricon chart (Oct. 19-25), Jeonghan X Joshua topped the 'Weekly Album Ranking' with their mini album 'DREAMSCAPE'.
'DREAMSCAPE' recorded approximately 66,000 copies sold during the period. It previously ranked first on the 'Daily Album Ranking' for two consecutive days (Oct. 20-21).
The new album sold 800,000 copies in its first week of release, claiming the number one spot on the Hanteochart weekly chart. It also secured the number two position on China's QQ Music 'Digital Bestseller Album'.
Its popularity in Japan is strong. 'DREAMSCAPE' topped Line Music's real-time 'Album Top 100'. It also ranked first on iTunes Japan's 'Top Albums' chart.
The album depicts a dreamscape where two types of dreams—unconscious fantasy and ideals to be achieved in reality—endlessly interlock and collide.
Meanwhile, Jeonghan X Joshua will hold solo concerts in six cities across domestic and international locations. From the 6th to the 23rd of next month, they will operate a related pop-up store in Shibuya, Tokyo.
