[Dispatch=Reporter Lee Ah-jin] ILLIT topped major Japanese charts upon releasing its new album.

According to the latest chart released by Japan's Oricon on the 28th, ILLIT secured the 3rd place (as of the 27th) on the daily album rankings with its fifth mini album "BREAK EVEN."

The title track "Arrest Me" is also gaining popularity. It recorded 8th place (as of the 27th) on Oricon's daily digital single rankings. It entered the top ranks of Japan's Line Music and AWA Music real-time rising charts.

It made its presence felt on global charts as well. "Arrest Me" climbed to 141st place (as of the 27th) on Spotify Daily Top Songs Global. It entered Apple Music Today's Top 100 Global at 67th place.

It continues its upward momentum on domestic music charts. "Arrest Me" entered Melon's Top 100 at 72nd place. As of the 28th, it rose to 7th place.

The music video is also receiving a strong response. As of the 29th, it surpassed 10 million views on YouTube. On the day of release, it ranked 1st in Korea, 2nd in the United States, and 7th globally on YouTube's daily popular music videos.

Meanwhile, ILLIT will appear on KBS-2TV's "Music Bank" on the 30th.
