[Dispatch=Reporter Jung Tae-yun] Santos Bravos is unveiling a new song in collaboration with &TEAM.
On the 29th (local time), Santos Bravos announced on SNS and Weverse that they will release "ORIGAMI," the pre-release track from their second EP, on the 20th of next month.
&TEAM from HIVE Japan participated in the music production. This is a project that demonstrates HIVE's direction for global collaboration, expanding artist exchange across borders.
The two groups previously worked together on "KAWASAKI" (&TEAM Remix), released in February. They added powerful vocals to a club dance track that blends Latin urban sound with Brazil's distinctive music rhythm.
Santos Bravos will present more mature and emotional music this time. "ORIGAMI" drew inspiration from the Japanese art of paper folding.
The themes of roots, gratitude, and resilience are woven into the music. It tells the story of growing and changing while not losing the foundation that makes up oneself.
Each crease formed by folding paper symbolizes life experiences, relationships, and lessons. At the center lies gratitude toward family, friends, and community.
Santos Bravos expressed their firm determination to build the future with support from those who are always by their side as a foundation through lyrics.
Over the past year, Santos Bravos has surpassed 250 million cumulative streams on major music platforms, maintaining steady upward momentum.
Their debut EP "DUAL," released in early this year, charted at No. 17 on Billboard's "Top Latin Pop Albums" chart. Billboard introduced them as one of the most notable newcomers in Latin pop.
Santos Bravos is a five-member group that debuted under HIVE Latin America in October last year. The members consist of Drew (United States), Cauê (Brazil), Alejandro (Peru), Kenneth (Mexico), and Gabi (Puerto Rico).
They plan to expand their global activities by performing on the stage of "Lollapalooza South America 2027," which will be held in three countries—Chile, Argentina, and Brazil—next March.
