T-ara's Soyeon announces pregnancy... "A gift that came after 4 years of marriage"

[Dispatch=Reporter Lee Myung-ju] Soyeon (39), from T-ara, is becoming a mother to a son.

Soyeon announced her pregnancy through SNS on the 1st. "I share joyful news on our fourth wedding anniversary. A baby will soon be born," she said.

She confessed, "While overcoming my husband's trials together—he had to return from injury before the 2026 World Cup finals—we received the precious gift of a new life."

She added, "From the day I learned of the baby's existence, I've been living each day with gratitude and joy with my child in my womb. I will always live with appreciation."

Soyeon posted a video of her husband, soccer player Jo Yu-min (29), kissing her pregnant belly. Recent updates also showed him studying to prepare as an expectant father.

Colleagues in entertainment left messages of congratulation. Ham Eun-jung wrote in the comments, "Unni, I'm so so happy for you." Ji-yeon and Hyo-min pressed the 'like' button.

Meanwhile, Soyeon debuted with T-ara in 2009. She released numerous hit songs including "Roly Poly." After leaving the group in 2017, she married Jo Yu-min in 2022.
