"'100 Days of Lies', 9.8% Viewership…"Kim Yoo-jung's Sincerity Toward Park Jin-young"

[Dispatch=Reporter Lee Myung-ju] '100 Days of Lies' is on an upward trend. It has set a new personal viewership high once again.

tvN's '100 Days of Lies' (screenplay by Ryu Bo-ri, directed by Yoo In-sik and Kim Yun-jin) episode 8 aired on the 1st. According to Nielsen Korea, this episode recorded a nationwide average viewership rating of 9.8%.

The drama started with a 5.3% viewership in episode 1 and has been showing steady growth. Particularly for even-numbered episodes, it surpassed 9% in just four episodes. Double-digit viewership ratings are not far away.

This episode also maintained the top spot across all channels, including terrestrial networks (based on Seoul metropolitan area and nationwide). The 20-49 male and female viewership rating for the channel's target demographic was also the highest across all channels.

In this broadcast, the changing relationship between Lee Ga-gyeong (played by Kim You-jung) and Kim Tae-woong (played by Park Jin-young) was depicted. Tae-woong revealed his Joseon name to a drunk Ga-gyeong as Kim Tae-woong.

The Gukuk Group launched a new operation ahead of the Joseon Governor-General's opening ceremony for the Ki-song Building. Ga-gyeong placed herself in a dangerous situation after hiding a bomb at the request of Yu So-ran (played by Kim Hyun-joo).

Most notably, the ending was compelling. Sato Shin'ichi (played by Jin Sun-gyul) criticized Tae-woong, who questioned him after learning the truth about the Gyeam-ri incident, saying "You ended up making a stupid choice."

After Sato Shin'ichi left, Tae-woong realized Ga-gyeong was hiding behind the curtain. To an angry Tae-woong, Ga-gyeong said she remembered everything from last night and mentioned a wish token bet.

The wish Ga-gyeong revealed was for Tae-woong not to cry. "I'm using a wish token right now. Don't cry, Interpreter Kim Tae-woong," she comforted his wounded heart with her words.

Meanwhile, '100 Days of Lies' tells the story of a pickpocket turned informant and a Joseon Governor-General's interpreter meeting in the enemy's stronghold.
