Lisenne made its debut in the music industry in 2024 with the determination to recall a scene (SCENE) again through fragrance (RE). It was an aspiration to leave behind their own musical scent.

That scent reached the public a bit late. "Love Attack" topped Melon's "Top 100" in July. It was a chart reversal achieved two years after release.

This time they are aiming for a regular chart run. They are not ending the miracle of the chart reversal as a one-time occurrence. With more developed music and performance, they knock on the public's heart once again.

Lisenne held a media showcase commemorating the release of their fourth mini album "PURSE" on the 3rd at Blue Square Uri Won Banking Hall in Yongsan-gu, Seoul.

It is their comeback approximately four months later. Lisenne released "Pretty Girl" in July. They reinterpreted a hit song by Kara. This time they have returned with music of their own.

Rib said, "You showed us a lot of love and interest during our last activity. Four months passed quickly," and added, "The members prepared with one heart and one mind to live up to your expectations."

"PURSE" means a heartbeat. It contains the heart that begins to beat again at the voice of someone calling me. The genuine feelings of Lisenne toward Rimind (fanbase name) are also embedded in it.

The main scent of the new album is musk. It is a scent that spreads widely along body temperature when poured on a place where a pulse beats. "PURSE" also depicts emotions that linger long in each other's hearts.

Minami said, "Musk is a subtle yet deeply penetrating fragrance," and explained, "This album also contains the desire for it to stay by many people's sides for a long time."

The title track is "With." It sings about the overwhelming emotion of finally meeting a presence one has long dreamed of. It is impressive how the emotion explodes as it moves toward the chorus.

Lisenne showcased the title track stage for the first time on this day. The five members displayed sharp, unified choreography. Minami's powerful high notes were added over the emotional melody.

The key choreography is a hand gesture reminiscent of a fox. After forming a fox shape with their fingers, they place it below their lips and repeat a wave side to side.

Rib cited teamwork as the core of the performance. "There are many movements where five members move as one body," and emphasized, "I hope you will see the synergy that comes when we come together as one."

The music video captures a moment of exciting encounter. The members appeared amid falling confetti. They met someone and bickered with each other, then gradually fell for each other.

The B-sides contain special stories. Jae-ga from Netflix's "K-pop Demon Hunters" contributed to composing "Hundred Flowers in Full Bloom."

"Hundred Flowers in Full Bloom" is a song that depicts the process of emotions blooming upon the arrival of an awaited season. May hinted, "The moment you hear it, a scene where flowers bloom magnificently comes to mind."

The starting point of the song was Minami's calligraphy writing. Minami had previously written the Chinese idiom "Hundred Flowers in Full Bloom," which she liked, as her goal for the year. That word has actually been born as Lisenne's music.

Minami said, "A word I usually cherished has been made into a beautiful and wonderful song," and shared her thoughts, "I am grateful just for the fact that it has become Lisenne's song."

For Lisenne, this comeback is another starting point. They expressed their goal to continue the attention gained from the chart reversal with their own identity.

Won-i said, "Miracle is never an easy word. I am grateful that you have attached such an expression to us," and wished, "I want to be a group that reminds people of a miracle once more."

Minami also emphasized musical growth over numbers. She said, "Performance is important, but the goal is to establish Lisenne's scent in the public's mind."

May said, "Rather than being a group that gets attention for a moment, I want to be loved for a long time," and explained, "We pledge to show a harder-working side alongside the members."

Finally, Minami said, "I will continue to show growth. I hope you will look at us kindly with warm hearts."

Lisenne will release "PURSE" on major music streaming sites at 6 p.m. on the 3rd.
