[Dispatch=Lee Myung-ju Reporter] BTS has set another record. They became the first K-pop artist to receive album certification in Italy.

According to the Italian Recording Industry Association (FIMI), BTS recently obtained 'Platinum' certification for their regular fifth album 'ARIRANG'.

'Platinum' certification is awarded to albums that achieve a cumulative 50,000 units by converting physical album sales, digital downloads, and streaming figures.

This is the first time their album has received 'Platinum' certification in Italy. Previously, 'BE' and 'Proof' received Gold certification.

The popularity of 'ARIRANG' continues on the U.S. Billboard chart. The album ranked at No. 57 on 'Billboard 200', the main chart, as of the 7th.

The album went straight to the top of the chart after its release last March. It has maintained a record of 32 consecutive weeks on the 'Billboard 200' chart.

The title track 'Swim' has also continued its success. The track ranked at No. 33 on 'Global 200' and No. 13 on 'Global (excluding the U.S.)'.

Meanwhile, BTS is conducting the world tour 'ARIRANG'. They will hold performances in Kaohsiung on the 19th and 21-22.
