[Dispatch=Reporter Lee Myeong-ju] Actor Cha Ye-ryeon's agency has reiterated that allegations of school violence are "false facts."

HB Entertainment stated on the 4th to Dispatch, "We express deep regret for causing concern to the public due to recent controversies surrounding Cha Ye-ryeon circulating online."

The agency has previously stated that the school violence allegations are "groundless." However, it expressed concern that "unverified claims and speculation continue to spread repeatedly."

The controversy has now extended to damage affecting Cha Ye-ryeon's minor daughter and husband Ju Sang-wook. The YouTube channel operated by Cha Ye-ryeon has comments disabled.

The agency ultimately signaled legal action. The agency stated, "We will respond responsibly after legal review regarding malicious dissemination of false facts and personal attacks."

It added, "We will take strong legal measures to prevent further damage from the spread of false facts (related to Cha Ye-ryeon's school violence allegations). We are grateful."

Cha Ye-ryeon recently became embroiled in allegations online of being a "female actor born in 1985" accused of school violence. The claims stated that she assaulted and bullied classmates during middle school.

While the real name was not mentioned in the problematic post, she was identified as the perpetrator due to matching birth year and school of origin. The agency denied the allegations, stating "it is groundless after confirmation."
