"The Killing List" is an action historical drama based on the webtoon of the same name from Kakao. It adds bold imagination to the historical fact of the Gyeongyu Rebellion in early Joseon.

Jung Sung-il has been cast as Ban Seok, who harbors deep resentment toward Han Myung-hoe. He carries out plans to bring him down together with the secret organization "Hwajeongmong."

Baek Yun-shik plays Ji Hak, a master blacksmith who once gained fame as Joseon's greatest martial artist. He is also the teacher who raised another swordsman Baek Mu-han (played by Choi Moo-sung).

Wi Ha-joon takes on the role of Suyeong Daegoon, who seeks to seize royal power. Choi Gwi-hwa plays Yun Gyeum, Han Myung-hoe's closest aide, and Park Ji-hwan plays Park Paeng-nyeon, one of the Six Righteous Subjects.

Beyond this, Ko Chang-seok plays Kim Jong-seo, a renowned general called "the Great Tiger of the North," Jo Bok-rae plays Yoo Hyeol-mok, the head of an assassination organization, and Danielle Choi plays Sung Sam-mun.

Some roles have yet to be revealed. The role of Baek Yi-hwa, who became a "night ghost" dreaming of revenge against Han Myung-hoe, and Jang Gil-do, Han Myung-hoe's right-hand man, will be announced later.

Director Kim Hong-sun will handle the direction. Director Kim has showcased his distinctive strong genre aesthetic through works such as "The Conspirators," "The Technicians," and "Wolf Hunt."

He particularly worked as lead director on the British crime action series "Gangs of London Season 3." Subsequently, he signed a contract with a Hollywood agency.

International crew members also participate. Cinematographer Lars Cox, who shot HBO's "House of the Dragon," and lighting director Kieran Whate of "Odyssey" are involved.
