[Dispatch=Reporter Tae-yoon Jung] Disney+ series "The Remarried Empress" has captivated viewers worldwide.

According to Disney+, "The Remarried Empress" has become the most-watched Disney+ local original content globally within three days of its release on the 3rd.

Among Korean titles released in over 50 markets worldwide, including the United States, United Kingdom, France, Spain, Germany, Mexico, Chile, Australia, New Zealand, and Canada, it topped the charts.

"The Remarried Empress" is a romance fantasy epic. The story depicts Navier, the Empress of the Eastern Empire (played by Shin Min-a), being notified of divorce by Emperor Sovieshu (played by Joo Jihoon), who has fallen for runaway slave Rashta (played by Lee Se-young).

The work drew both anticipation and concerns even before its release. Following its premiere, it received passing marks for its entertainment value.

The intricate set design depicting the fictional world of the Eastern Empire, combined with grand music, captivated viewers.

However, some voiced that the setting itself of Korean actors portraying a Western imperial family felt unfamiliar. There was also disappointment regarding certain CG effects and excessive costumes and hairstyles.

Now the prologue of the full story has begun. A new romance between Navier and Heinrich (played by Lee Jong-suk) and the conflicting desires of Sovieshu and Rashta are set to intensify further.

"The Remarried Empress" has released episodes 1 through 4. It will present a total of 10 episodes, with 2 episodes every Wednesday.
