On May 28th, Dior Beauty posted photos of a recent pop-up store event in Seongsu-dong, Seoul, on their official Instagram account.
In the posts, a photo of former figure skater Kim Yuna was featured as the first slide, followed by Blackpink’s Jisoo on the second slide. Both had visited the Dior pop-up store as brand ambassadors. Additionally, photos of actor and 2PM’s Lee Jun-Ho, NU'EST's Haerin and actor Jung Hae-In were posted sequentially.
However, international fans of Jisoo expressed their disappointment in the comments, stating, "Why is the global ambassador on the second slide?" and "Why is the photo of the global ambassador placed behind others? Is this how Dior operates?"
In response, there were counter comments such as, "Don't you know who Kim Yuna is? She is a world champion", "Blinks, don't touch Yuna", and "It's not right to discredit other models just because your favorite star isn't in the first photo."
